Standard Weights

In the science of measurement, a Standard is a system, an object, or experiment that has a defined relationship to a unit of computation of a physical quantity. Standards are the primary attributes for a system of weights and measures, against which all other measuring devices are compared. To calibrate moderate precision balances like build-in weights and external weights, these Standard weights are used for precision and analytical works.

To obtain the best accuracy from precision balances, the balances need to be frequently calibrated using precision standard weights. Contech offers Brass & Stainless calibrated weights.
